I’ll be honest, I don’t really know. What I do know, however:

  1. I want to build and do my own “thing”
  2. I will be learning a host of new things outside of my day-to-day skillset
  3. I will, I imagine, be making lots of mistakes along the way
  4. You never know, at some point I might have a small success and I’d like to share the journey towards that.

This blog is intended to keep me honest, share what I’m doing, what tools I’m using and anything useful I learn along the way.

StartStopStartUp

I like to start new things. I’ve lost count of the number of websites I’ve started building and then inexplicably taken a short 2 day break that turns into a week, then a month then… Typically followed by something completely different.

This about sums it up: https://inspirezone.tech/why-developers-fail-to-complete-side-projects/

This doesn’t make what I did pointless – far from it. I learn a lot throughout. However it does mean I rarely get the satisfaction of finishing something. I want the “I made this” moment.

In the next few posts I’ll talk about who I am – my background and what I’ve done so far – as well as my goals and what I’ve been up to.

Thanks for reading and hopefully this is the start of something cool. Or I’ll stop… I do have previous.
